The three parties concluded a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim to promote cooperation in the field of interdisciplinary research in the Humanities and Social Sciences for their mutual benefit.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding, Université de Paris, the CNRS, and the University of Oxford have agreed to facilitate exchanges of staff and early career academics, organize and participate in joint academic and scientific activities, such as seminars and conferences focusing on strategic interdisciplinary research themes, and explore opportunities for collaboration on research programmes.
The “POP” Paris Oxford Partnership programme will run for a period of two academic years from 2021-2023 and will enable Université de Paris and the CNRS, with the Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities to develop their collaborative work.
