Description :

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) offers 5 Standard Fellowships for young researchers who want to spend 12 to 24 months for a research internship in a Japanese laboratory.

Eligibility requirements

The grants are intended for post-doctoral students who have defended their thesis for less than 6 years ago (after 2 April 2018). The fellowships are intended for young researchers of French nationality or young foreign researchers who have defended their thesis in France and can prove that they have been working for at least three years in a university or research organisation in France.

Master 2, doctoral students or post-doctoral who have defended their thesis for less than 6 years.

Scientific High Level Visiting Fellowships (SSHN) 2023

These grants finance research stays in France in CNRS laboratories for researchers living in the United Kingdom, in order to support the development of structuring Franco-British research collaborations

The CNRS initiates bilateral dialogues with major international research organizations through “PhD Joint Programmes”. Each selected joint project will provide funding for a 3-year PhD scholarship, and mobility between France and the partner country.
For each project, there will be two PI – one from the CNRS and one from the partner institution – and two PhD students, one from the CNRS UMR and one from the partner university.

These calls are open to all disciplines, although certain thematic priorities are highlighted in some calls.

Disciplines: The theme for this year’s call is Transformational Science and Technology. The call is intended to be open to all areas of science, technology, engineering and medicine.

SALTO exchange programme for doctoral and post-doctoral students between the CNRS and Max-Planck-Gesellschaft

SALTO is a strategic exchange programme between the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (MPG). The aim of this call for applications is to finance the mobility of young researchers in a Max Planck Institute in Germany as part of their research project over a period of 4 to 10 months. This call is open both to doctoral students in the 2nd year of their thesis and post-doctoral students, working in CNRS laboratories.

Eligibility criteria :
This call is only open to young scientists – PhD students and post-docs – employed in a CNRS unit.
MPG researchers (doctoral and post-doctoral students) interested in the call – to carry out a mobility in a CNRS laboratory – are invited to contact the following e-mail address : salto@gv.mpg.de

Themes :
All proposals in all scientific fields will be considered without exception.

International Emerging Actions (IEA) – 2023

International Emerging Actions are “PI-to-PI” projects designed to explore new areas of research and establish new international partnerships through short-term missions, the organization of working meetings and the launch of joint research work on a common scientific project.
The call is open to researchers working in a CNRS unit.
