Scientific excellence on a global scale

Scientific research excellence involves working on an international scale and collaborating with partners from all over the world.

The European and International Affairs Department (DEI) represents the CNRS in promoting its policy of international and European cooperation in France and abroad and supports its researchers in their European and international projects.

It also implements the necessary cooperation tools to initiate bilateral, European or international partnerships, according to the framework set by the CNRS for international cooperation. It supports research units involved in structuring agreements with foreign partners, particularly universities and other research institutions.
