
The CNRS Tokyo Office regularly publishes a French-language news bulletin on the CNRS activities and scientific news in North-East Asia (Japan, Taiwan, South Korea).
In the July 2023 issue, you will find:
– An account of the visit to Japan of Mme Sylvie Retailleau, French Minister for Higher Education and Research, in the context of G7 for Science and Technology in May 2023.
– A special feature on CNRS collaborations with the Japanese “WPIs”, centers of international excellence funded by the MEXT and JSPS “World Premier International Research Center Initiative” program.
– Articles about CNRS structured cooperation in North-East Asia: André Le Bivic’s (INSB) trip to Taiwan, workshops in nuclear and particle physics… as well as a last update on the Covid-19 epidemic in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea between March and June 2023, with an update on the reopening of the borders in the region.
